International Marketing Veteran Joe Gutierez Joins Freeborders
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 31, 2007) - Freeborders, a leading provider of IT solutions and outsourcing from China, has named international marketing and communications veteran Joe Gutierez as director of marketing.
Gutierez is responsible for all marketing and communications activities for San Francisco-based Freeborders, which provides industry expertise to North American and European companies in financial services, technology, consumer goods, manufacturing and transportation. The company, which has offices in New York, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Montreal and Manchester, was recently honored as one of the "Top 10 to Watch in Emerging Asian Markets" by Global Services magazine.

Gutierez has more than twenty years of leadership experience with Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining Freeborders, he served as the global director of marketing at Capgemini where he built and led its global service offers and global alliances marketing organizations. Gutierez has also held senior marketing positions at Ernst & Young and Bank of America. He is a frequent speaker at marketing forums and is widely recognized as an expert in global marketing and in building brand value for market capitalization.
Gutierez holds a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
