Business Analyst
Location: Raleigh NC area
Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst for the Raleigh, NC area. This Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- New Feed Analysis
- Data Sourcing and Quality management
- Data Exception Management
- Data Interface to downstream applications (enhancements or new requirements)
- Defect Issue Resolution (30-40% defects, 60-70% strategic issues)
- Change Management
Requirements:
- Good understanding of financial securities and trading
- Specific knowledge in Position Limit Monitoring, Global Control Room and Trade Surveillance a plus
- Good understanding of global data warehouse and interaction with referential data
- Analytical skills
- Negotiation, interaction and communication skills to work both with the client and IT
- Ability to "own" workstreams and follow through to completion
- Ability to manage expectations; retain a positive attitude, drive process and be a "self starter"
- Ability to prepare data mapping documentation
- DMS and SQL skills
- Ability to write SQL queries
